Chapman Smith coordinates every operation a part requires across our network of manufacturing partners, so you place one order, manage one relationship, and receive a completed component. We work primarily in production quantities, where consistency and supply continuity matter more than turnaround on a single piece.

What We Deliver

Sheet Metal Weldments

Laser or plasma cut from flat stock, formed on a press brake, welded into an assembly, and powder coated or painted. Delivered as a finished weldment rather than a stack of parts to join in-house.

Typical operations: laser cutting, plasma cutting, punching, press brake forming, MIG and TIG welding, robotic welding, powder coating, painting.

Bent Tube Assemblies

Steel and stainless tube bent to large radii, end formed, welded, and finished. Common for frames, guards, handles, and structural assemblies where a formed tube replaces a more expensive fabrication.

Typical operations: tube bending, saw cutting, end forming, tube fabrication, welding, plating, powder coating.

Machined Aluminum Extrusions

Extrusions cut to length, punched, drilled, tapped, deburred, and anodized. Useful when a standard or custom profile can replace a machined or fabricated part at lower cost.

Typical operations: saw cutting, punching, CNC milling, drilling, threading, deburring, anodizing.

Machined Castings

Aluminum sand and die castings, drilled and machined to print, then finished. We coordinate the casting source and the secondary machining as a single supply, rather than leaving you to manage a foundry and a machine shop separately.
